The Queen Hugo Vickers is often called upon to talk about The Queen and the Royal Family, especially in the media when royal crises, celebrations or bereavements occur. This lecture tells the story of The Queen, explains her role in the constitution and why she is so valuable to Britain. It also gives an explanation of her role and her character based on a lifetime of observation that goes back to childhood. The lecture was most recently given at Cumberland Lodge, Windsor Great Park, as part of the Windsor Festival's celebrations to mark The Queen's 80th Birthday.
